Learning skills in computer science helps students thrive in a rapidly changing world. Educators and students across the globe are using Google for Education in innovative and meaningful ways. In today's post we will take a look at some Google services which can be used in the english language learning & teaching.
1. GOOGLE CLASSROOM  Google Classroom is a free web service, developed by Google for schools, that aims to simplify creating, distributing, and grading assignments in a paperless way. The primary purpose of Google Classroom is to streamline the process of sharing files between teachers and students. Google Classroom combines Google Drive for assignment creation and distribution, Google Docs, Sheets and Slides for writing, Gmail for communication, and Google Calendar for scheduling.  Students can be invited to join a class through a private code, or automatically imported from a school domain. Each class creates a separate folder in the respective user's Drive, where the student can submit work to be graded by a teacher. Teachers can monitor the progress for each student, and after being graded, teachers can return work along with comments. 2. GOOGLE SLIDES  Google Slides is a presentation program included as part of a free, web-based software office suite offered by Google within its Google Drive service. Slides allows users to create and edit presentations online while collaborating with other users in real-time. Edits are tracked by user with a revision history that tracks changes to the presentation. 2. GOOGLE SHEETS  Google Sheets (known as google spreadsheets until October 2012) is a spreadsheet program included as part of a free, web-based software office suite offered by Google within its Google Drive service. Google Sheets serves as a collaborative tool for cooperative editing of spreadsheets in real-time. Documents can be shared, opened, and edited by multiple users simultaneously and users are able to see character-by-character changes as other collaborators make edits. The service includes a web clipboard tool that allows users to copy and paste content between Google Sheets and Docs, Slides, and Drawings.
